I grew up on the south side of Chicago, IL, attended undergrad at The Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in Milwaukee, WI, receiving a BS in Electrical Engineering. Currently, I am attending UMass-Amherst for graduate school, working on finishing up my masters, and will be continuing on at UMass for a PhD.
Why Have I Chosen My Field of Study?
I became interested in music and audio electronics at an early age. This eventually let to countless hours spent tinkering with old radios, building small speakers, and ultimately choosing electrical engineering as what I wanted to do with myself. Then, my freshman year of college I took a Physics of Electricity and Magnetism course, and became enthralled with what is the basic building blocks of all of electrical engineering: Maxwell’s equations and the fields described therein. By the time I took Fields I and II my junior year, I was already leaning towards a career in RF/Microwave Engineering instead of further pursuing my original interest in audio electronics engineering.
Details of school and such can be found here: my website.
Purpose of this site
I am hoping this weblog will serve as a place to post technical snippets of small side projects I am working on, coding, etc, for purposes of gaining feedback and insight from others comments and also on the chance that something I post will be useful to someone looking for info on a topic.
